The Magical Wonders Of Charity Shops

Paisley scarf - £1.00
Lace berry long sleeved top - £2.00

If you love charity shops as much as I do you will understand how good it feels to find something so nice for so cheap. Having a gander in my local town Blackheath i always pop into the RSPCA charity shop that just sits on the corner of the island in the town to see if there was anything new in there that i could get my hand on.

I came across this lovely paisley patterned scarf which I immediately picked up before anyone else spotted it! It's going to be so useful for this up coming cold weather. The lace berry coloured long sleeved top was such a barging as I've been having my eye on lace and berry colour for some time and spotting this made my day as for just £2.00, I think I did well.

ASOS Winter Sale!

ASOS - £100.00  £40.00

It's that time of the year where you need that one perfect winter essential. A new coat. After looking everywhere, Topshop, Urban Outfitters, Miss Selfridge and many more I just kept seeing over priced coats. As a fashion student and needing to pay for fabrics and tools my budget was pretty tight on how much I will pay for a new coat this year after spending £45.00 on my green hooded Parka last year.

Surprisingly I realised I didn't check at the one place I shop most. ASOS. Looking through the sale part I spotted this coat and realised it's exactly what I've been looking for. When spotted my mom decided to treat me, bless her.

It's so comfortable and warm as it's crafted with wool. The oversized faux fur collar just makes it look amazingly more beautiful then it already does. The collar is comes off so if fancy not wearing the collar one day, take it off. I also discovered that the collar goes nice with my denim and leather jacket which is a bonus! I've fallen completely in love with this coat and would advise anybody to get it whilst it's still on sale!

Enjoy! x

Halloween Wish List

Lazy Oaf Skull Repeat Skater Dress - £65.00
Jeffrey Campbell Lita Skull Shoes - £239.95
Topshop Lips In Wicked - £9.00
Paperself Deer And Butterfly Lashes - £12.00
Topshop Nails In Thorn - £6.50

I can't believe October is almost over! It's crazy how fast the year has gone. Certainly scary as well. But as it being the end of October it comes up to celebrating one of my favourite holidays of the year. Halloween. Halloween is such a fun way of bringing friends together, dressing up and having a good time. Or just getting incredibly drunk. My wish list is items of which I dream I could afford. But all of them being so pretty I just had to share my lust over them all.

Lazy Oaf skull repeat skater dress. This dress is gorgeous and I would wear it any other day of the year other than Halloween. This is a reason on my list as to why I should buy it coming up pay day this Friday (exciting!). It looks to me as a comfortable wear and being out and dressed way to up can be way to uncomfortable so this looks like the perfect dress. The design is also a favourite of mine. I have a thing for skull design.

Jeffrey Campbell Lita skull shoes. Being a big fan of the lita styled shoes as soon as I saw these I knew they would be a perfect match with the dress. Skulls as well! The price wasn't so pleasant to look at though which is a heart breaker.

Topshop lips in wicked. This is from there Dark side of nude collection which I'm very keen on at the moment and may have to invest in the lipstick. I've chosen burgundy as it's a dark and rich colour and is also one of my favourite colours of them all.

Paperself Deer and Butterfly lashes. I think these are the most craziest but most amazing things I've ever seen! As much as they look weird, they're beautiful as well. I mean, you have to go a bit crazy. It's Halloween.

Last of all Topshops own Nails in thorn nail varnish. As i said about the lipstick, going for burgundy as well as it's a dark and one of my favourite colours.

Hope you enjoy! x

ASOS Downton Abbey

Being a member of ASOS and having a little fashion blog on there as well on here i thought i'd share about this Downton Abbey look which is currently trending in woman fashion.

Farhi striped tweed coat - £340
Goldie London Salina Beaded dress
Vivienne Westwood Pearl mini bas relief chocker - 95
Vivienne Westwood mini bas relief bracelet - 80
Cambridge Satchel Company leather bag - 90
Bertie Proudlock black zip ankle boots - 110
NARS aw11 pure matte lipstick - 18.50

The Downton Abbey trend is a very classy girl look, including pretty beads and pearls. From the collection i've picked my favourite Tweed coat, Beaded dress and jewellery. I have also added a few more to go with the outfit.

Farhi striped tweed coat. This coat is absolutely gorgeous and i have my eye on a tweed coat in sale at the moment to add to my winter wardrobe. This coat to me says classy instantly and looks like a must have to add to winter as it looks comfy and warm. This coat would go with almost anything as well. Jeans to trains to  dresses a dolly shoes.

Goldie London Salina Beaded dress. This dress gave me a 'little black dress' moment and everybody needs a little black dress in there wardrobe for sure. Having a love for beaded things and black dresses I really liked this and will hopefully be purchasing it soon. It would look like with and without tights also.

Vivienne Westwood mini bas relief necklace and bracelet. Being a huge fan of Vivienne Westwood, and having my college work inspired by her i had to go for Vivienne Westwood. Anything of hers i'm always lusting over. The pearls in both give a classy look towards the outfit but also excitement with the silver Vivienne Westwood orb.

Cambridge satchel company leather bag. Adding my own bits and bobs to the outfit i thought red would go perfect with this outfit as of it being one of my favourite colours also. This bag is lovely and is enough to fit enough that you need to take out with you. As of being autumn as well it goes well with the new collection.

Bertie Proudlock black zip ankle boots. These boots are beautys and i wish i had enough money in the bank to get them here and now. As of boots being very popular nowerdays i thought why not have boots? These boots look like the boots you would wear to a formal evening if not being up for wearing heels but still wanted to impress.

NARS AW11 pure matte lipstick. I've seen this a lot recently and i really want to get my hands on it eventually! To go with the red bag i threw in a nice red matte lipstick.

Hope you enjoy! x

Eye cream heaven

I've never really paid attention to The Body Shop but hearing a lot of good things i thought i would have a gander and see if i could find anything for myself.

I came across this vitamin E eye cream and was intrigued by it a lot. Especially after seeing all the good reviews it had. As of being naturally tanned/olive skin toned i have naturally very fairly dark circles round my eyes and i thought hey, why not give this a try. Going to my local shopping centre I took a sample of this stuff and it works brilliantly. Just after a few days my eyes seem a lot lighter and fresher. It smells gorgeous as well as doing a perfect job!

If you have naturally dark circles or suffer with puffiness i advise anyone to definately try this Vitamin E cream. It's like heaven in a little tube.

Recent Purchases

                                                     Krissy Animal Dogtooth leggings.

I've been lusting over this pattern for ages and i've been looking for some leggings of this sort. I've finally found the perfect pair for a barging of just £10 from www.boohoo.com! Incredible to say the least.

I think these are essential to add to the winter wardrobe as in my opinion they remind a lot about Christmas! But I'm excited for these to come as i could clash them lovely with my leopard fut coat or when on nights out wear these with my polo neck crop top and throw some nice big bold jewellery on to fancy it up.

Winter wishlist

As the cold weather is soon to be here I've picked out some winter clothes that i would like to get my hands on when next pay day comes!

Ellen Bra from Monki clothing looks so comfy and cosy to wear, i don't practically think it would keep me warm but i just had to pop it on my wish list as the material is silk and I'm such a sucker for silk material i just need it as soon as possible! For £12 too, how can you say no?

Marina knitted jumper from again Monki clothing. This is definitely ideal for those cold days when having to get up early for college and you can just throw this beautiful jumper on and during college feel super cosy in. The price is £25 which in my opinion I think is a decent price.

My favourite item of clothing on this wishlist! The beautiful Pins And Needles velvet fur coat! This caught my eye as soon as I was on Urban Outfitters Jackets and Coats and my boy it is so beautiful that i must have it but at a price of £125 I could look around for one firstly to find one similar and more cheaper. If not i will treat myself well to this gem.

Knitted head band from New look, £3.50, barging! I've always been wanting to wear one of these things but only just getting the confidence to wear certain things i'm one hundred percent sure that I will need one of these to keep my ears all cosy when out in the winter visiting the German market or with friends.

I've gone mad on acid jeans lately and I'm starting to wear  my own more often now. These gorgeous pair of Moto acid supersoft skinny jeans are just what i'm looking for!

As of it getting cold, getting cold feet is the worst feeling ever so i thought i may need some new thick comfy socks to wear. These coral aztec socks from Topshop costing £4 look extremely warm to wear and also give off a Christmas feel as well as keeping my feet toasty.

Last of all the lovely Crocodile doctors bag from Urban Outiftters. I think this bag would go nice with the outfit put together and definitely with the coat. I love the crocodile print on the bag and how it has a choice of whether you would wear it round your shoulders or hold it. Choices are good.

Hope you enjoy my outfit! X

05/09/2012 - Night Out.

Sorry for the lack of posts. I've been away on holiday! As a lot of my friends birthdays are coming up and always decided to go out places last minute i'm deciding on buying clothes that are suitable for causal wear but also would look fabulous when wearing on a night out.

I've chosen my favourite outfits from just having a quick surf around the internet and i'm extremely lusting over the Floral Devore Kimono. It's definitely something that i would wear as floral is one of my favourite prints on clothing. In my case as liking things baggy i'd have this kimono in the next size up which would be a size 12. It looks extremely comfortable and cool enough to wear inside places. It would even look amazing with just a plain vest top or t-shirt underneath with some leggings and some gorgeous dolly shoes.

I've been crazy about Chelsea Boots for the past year now and i need to get my hands on these Alexy Platform boots as they're just perfect. They look comfortable and i've been told they're comfortable to wear as well. They would be perfect on a night out if you were wanting to heels but didn't want the pain of aching all night. These look like the saviors of that kind of situation.

The Embellished Crop Cami from Topshop is a item of clothing i've been having my eyes on for quite some time now but been unsure how to wear it until i put this outfit together. Which now means i have definitely got to buy it. Happy me!

I was unsure on whether to put silver jewellery together with this outfit or gold. Looks like gold won! I had chosen gold as it goes well with my skin tone and also stands out in this outfit. I chosen the vintage oval ring as the outfit itself looks quite vintage due to the floral nylon kimono and platformed Chelsea boots. Being on a night out i had chosen medium sized hooped earrings and a big chain necklace. I'm really getting interested in these type of bracelets. Whilst on holiday i saw a lot of them and i'm loving them completely.

Costs of items and where from:

Floral Devore Kimono from http://www.missselfridge.com - £36
Embellished Crop Cami from http://www.topshop.com - £36
Moto Black Super Soft Skinny Leigh Jeans from http://www.topshop.com - £38

26/08/12 - Kicking back skirt

Excuse the poor camera quality! I'm extremely sorry. I've finally got the skirt i've had my eyes on for some time on now and also brought a nice comfy plain top to go with it. I really like this skirt as you can wear it even if the weather is looking not so sunny but it's humid outside. Its good at keeping me warm but cool at the same time. I got this from http://www.topshop.com. The price was £20 and it think that is a reasonable price for this skirt. The t-shirt was £7.99 from http://www.hm.com/gb/.

Wish list.

It's finally my favourite day of the month, pay day! I'm excited to treat myself and get my hands on all these pretty items i've been lusting over for quite some time now. I've been concentrated more on buying autumn/winter clothes as autumn is on it's way now and summer has ended but i think the long causal maxi skirt would go lovely with the boots and a nice jumper or boyfriend t-shirt. As i love Marc Jacobs fragrances i was so happy to find out he had a new one out and cannot wait to have it.

20/08/2012 - Summer chill

Today i went for a summery look to make the most of the sunny weather as much I can. I pulled out a old dress from Topshop petite that i had swapped a long time ago with my friend when doing a clothes swapping party kind of thing. I'm amazed that it still fits me. As it was a bit cool as well as sunny i threw my leather jacket on with it which was from Matalan.

Casual day out or night

I really like this look as it's very casual but also stunning. The silver jewellery is what creates it to be a very outgoing look that could be worn when going out on the night also.

Fresh new start.

I've decided to make a blog all about my Fashion style and textiles due to starting an extended diploma in Textiles with Fashion studies course in September. I'm excited for what it is going to bring for me in the future but also very nervous!
